About the Blog
The world we live in is one dominated by social media and the internet.
My name is Mitch Quesada and I am a 19-year old student at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. As a sophomore in college, I cannot remember a world without the World Wide Web. That being said, I started this blog to discover how today’s social media websites are utilized by individuals in the same generation as me and how it is being used differently (if at all) in the generations before me.
Almost every generation has something unique to them that happened during that generation’s prime. Generations Y and Z have social media and the internet, but how do they compare to Generation X? It’s time to see how Facebook, Twitter, and more are used differently by those in different age groups. It’s time for a Generation Update.
